Mid Wales Open Art Fair - Sat. 22 March to 19th April 2008
The Mid Wales Open Art Fair is held annually in Tregaron, Ceredigion, Wales, commencing on Easter Saturday.
The Art Fair is a major fixture in the events calendar of Celf Cambria Arts, as well as an important Welsh art event, being the largest of its kind in the area. It has become the place to buy, sell, and view Welsh art. Last year 120 artists took part from all over Wales and beyond, with 300 pieces of artwork for sale.
Many different forms of artwork are represented, from paintings and prints to ceramics, sculpture, textiles and photography. The range of approaches is equally varied, which makes this event so special and keeps the visitor enthralled. This annual show is gaining a reputation for its high level of work, albeit a truly open show. The Mid Wales Open Art Fair is the exhibition where new artists can be discovered, and where visitors can see the development and changes in style of the more established artists of Wales. Don’t miss this fascinating journey into the world of contemporary art today.
The Art Fair is presented at Oriel Cambria Gallery in Rhiannon Gold Centre in the centre of Tregaron. All of the art on display is for sale, offering art at very affordable prices.

Ffair Gelf Agored Canolbarth Cymru - Sadwrn Mawrth 22 - Ebrill 19 2008
I ddathlu degfed Arddangosfa Gelf Agored Tregaron, rydym mewn sefyllfa i gyhoeddi y bydd y gweithgareddau eleni yn fwy nag erioed. Ail enwyd yr arddangosfa yn Ffair Gelf Agored Canolbarth Cymru.
Mae'r sioe wedi ennill ei phlwyf yn y calendr lleol. Er mwyn dathlu'r degfed mewn steil, penderfynodd y pwyllgor ehangu er mwyn galluogi hongian 100 o ddarnau celf ychwanegol. Eleni bydd y cyfanswm rhwng 300 a 400 darn celf.
Mae'r ehangu yn cyd daro gyda dwy fenter arall; ailgynllunio'r wefan i gynnwys oriel ar-lein a fydd yn ei gwneud yn bosib prynu gwaith yn uniongyrchol o'r safle ac arddangos yn yr enwog Affordable Art Fair ym Mharc Battersea yn Llundain ym mis Mawrth. Bydd y grwp yn cludo gwaith naw arlunydd proffesiynol o Ganolbarth Cymru i'r sioe. Un o'r ychydig orielau yng Nghymru i fod yn llwyddiannus gan ymuno ag orielau o Brydain a thramor.
